In a medium or large saucepan, mix your dry ingredients and mix thoroughly before adding the wet ingredients. Mix everything together using a spatula or large spoon until it is almost clump-free. 2. Mix the mixture over medium temperature. Mix frequently. Continue to stir the mix until it begins to form a clump. Continue mixing using the spatula. When a large clump is formed, remove it from the heat and allow to cool. 3. After cooling to a comfortable temperature, you can begin to work the putty by hand. Once the consistency is even you can begin to separate the putty into even sections when you're making different colours. In this batch we were able to make an adequate amount of three different colours. Add food colouring to the ball by placing your thumb inside the middle. Keep kneading until color is evenly dispersed. Once you reach your desired colour intensity, the play can begin!
